After dominating the Smartphone market for nearly 15 years Nokia has slipped to the 3rd spot in Smartphone sales during the second quarter of 2011.  Apple emerges as the new leader of the Smartphone market with them selling a record 20.3 million iPhones during the quarter. Samsung comes a close second with an estimated 19 million smartphone sales during the quarter. What remains to be seen is whether Nokia can regain their top spot. The battle is on!
