Its quite well known that the first version of Aakash - the world's cheapest tablet had some serious flaws. Its had several performance issues and a weak processor and an even weaker battery led to several questions being raised about the credibility of the device. Now the good news is that an upgraded version of the tablet is expected to be available around April or May this year. The new version which reportedly has been indigenously developed promises better performance and a longer battery life.
