Samsung electronics has recently announced Samsung Z - the world’s first smartphone that runs on the Tizen (V 2.2.1) OS in an effort to break away from the android jinx. Zixen is an flexible open-source operating system (OS) that is primarily  targeted  at the  mobile and  connected device ecosystem. The Samsung Z sports a 4.8 inch 720 x 1080 pixels Super AMOLED display which translates into a pixel density of 306 ppi and is powered by a 2.3 GHz quad-core processor and features a 2Gb RAM.
