Alcatel One Touch Idol X+ Now Officially Available In India

The competition in the Indian smartphone market is set to intensify even further with Alcatel re-entering the Indian markets with the Alcatel One Touch Idol X+.


The One Touch Idol X+ smartphone is powered with a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek processor with ARM Mali 450 GPU and features 2 GB of RAM. 



The Idol X+ runs on the Android v4.2.1 (Jelly Bean) OS, sports a 5-inch IPS capacitative display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels which translates into a pixel density of 441 ppi (pixels per inch). The screen comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protector to protect it from dust and dirt.



Alcatel One Touch Idol X+ smartphone features a 13.1 MP BSI front camera with autofocus and LED flash and also has a 2MP front camera that lets you shoot selfies of reasonable quality. It is a dual-sim smartphone and weighs in at 130g and features a 2500 mAh battery. 

The smartphone comes in two variants, one with a 16Gb of internal memory and the other with 32Gb of in-built memory.  There is however no external memory slot. 

The Alcatel One Touch Idol X+ comes with JBL Super Bass in-ear sterio headset and a smart wearable wristband - the Boomband.
