14 Steps To Write A Good Blog Post

A Blog’s success in the long run depends entirely upon the quality of content it features. The following post is a step by step guide on how to write a good blog post.


  1. Choose an interesting idea or topic. Make sure that the topic is consistent with the overall content idea/niche of your blog.

  1. Read reference materials and research; if necessary.

  1. Plan your post.

  1. Make a note of all the valid points that would form a part of your post.

  1. Expand on such points. Keep it short and simple.

  1. Write an interesting introduction.

  1. Select an “eye catching” post title.

  1. Add a concluding paragraph. The concluding paragraph must elicit a response or urge readers to share their views on the topic.

  1. Add relevant images and other media. This helps increase user engagement.

  1. Include Links to quality resources on the subject. Also include internal links to any other article you might have written on the topic.

  1. Review your post. Make alterations where ever necessary.

  1. Check for errors.

  1. Highlight potential keywords.

  1. Publish your post. Share the same on social media websites.
