Google Unveils Social Network - Seeks To Take Over From Facebook

Internet giant Google Inc. has unveiled its latest innovation, a Social Network called Google+ with which it plans to take on the might of Facebook.

With the +project, Google intends "to make connecting with people on the web more like connecting with them in the real world".

Termed "Real-life sharing rethought for the web" Google+ is presently available to the invited few but it won't be long before the full fledged service is made available to everyone.
