LinkedIn Opens Technology Center In Bangalore, India

LinkedIn the World's Largest Professional network has opened a technology center in Bangalore which will be headed by Ganesh Krishnan, Senior Director of Engineering at LinkedIn.

In an official blog post, Ganesh Krishnan says "We want to leverage the abundance of exceptional technical talent in India to help build the global LinkedIn platform." In this regard it must be said that LinkedIn in the recent years has seen a tremendous growth in its user base in India. As of the date of this writing LinkedIn is the 8th most popular website in India (Source - Alexa).
