Google To Shut Down Picnik - The Online Photo Editing Service

Internet giant Google has announced another product shut down and this time its PICNIK; one of the world's most popular online photo editing site which is about to closed down.

Picnik to be officially retired on April 19,2012

In an official blog post Dave Girouard, VP of Product Management at Google announced that the company will be officially retiring Picnik on April 19, 2012. Services offered by Picnik have been integrated into Google+

Picnik was acquired by Google on March 1, 2010.
