KLiK - An App That Identifies Faces In Images

What if your smartphone could instantly recognize and tag people every time you took a picture? This is now made possible with KLik - a new iPhone app from that uses facial recognition to identify and tag people in a snap.

KLiK - An App That Identifies Faces In Images

How does KLiK work?

To use KLiK you need to connect your Facebook profile to the app. The app then scans the images of your Facebook friends and stores a profile of the same. This saved information is used by the app to match, identify (and tag) your friends, the next time you take a snap or upload a picture of your friends to your phone. The tagged images can then be easily shared to your Facebook profile.

However, it is important to understand that since KLiK uses your Facebook information to identify faces, only your Facebook friends will be recognized in a photograph.

Is KLiK Free?

KLiK is indeed free and can be downloaded from the app-store. The app is compatible with iPhone, iTouch and the iPad and requires iOS 4.3 or higher to operate.

With KLiK tagging your photos on Facebook is indeed hassle-free.

UPDATE : KLIK is now DEAD
