Given its low price-tag, the
KOBIAN iXA TAB comes equipped with some decent features. The iXA TAB is powered by a 1 GHZ processor
and comes equipped with 512 MB of RAM. Running on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system,
the iXA Tab offers a 7 inch touch screen and is WiFi enabled. There is also a
0.3 MP camera for video calling.
The device has a 4 GB of internal storage (expandable to 32GB) and weighs in at about 340
g.
The company behind the iXA Tab - Kobian is the
manufacturer of the ‘Mercury’ brand of computers and peripherals and had also recently
launched the Mercury mTab
Neo2 in India.
Overall the KOBIAN iXA TAB seems to offer good
value for money, however, its actual performance can only be gauged once it is
made available in the market.
